One platform. All your DQ files and any driver training.
DQ Files & More
Upload the driver qualification files, HR documents, and training materials you already have.
Company Training
Your trainers evaluate real-world driving skills through a digital portal.
Continued Education
When a driver hits the road, you have complete proof they were trained, evaluated, and aware of every company expectation.
One Platform
Built to fit you.
Compliance where it counts.
Trade paper binders or an outdated DQ system for DOT compliance software that actually keeps up: digital driver files, expiration alerts, and audit-ready reports. Then manage any training your drivers need after they earn their CDL, all in the same platform. Whether you run one truck or a hundred, it's trucking compliance software sized to you.
Turn paper forms into
electronic DQ files and training.
Convert your existing PDF forms and documents into smart digital versions. Instead of printing, signing, and scanning, drivers complete and sign documents directly in the system — and every field they fill becomes trackable data, not just ink on a page. Your current paperwork doesn't get thrown out; it gets upgraded.

Every required document
Driver Qualification Software.
One system for every driver’s documents, expirations, reviews, and required records — with alerts that help you stay ahead of what’s due.
Driver file management software for every FMCSA-required document
Turn paper files, shared drives, or outdated systems into one connected driver qualification file for every driver. Keep applications, MVRs, medical certifications, annual reviews, road tests, and every other record §391.51 requires searchable, secure, and ready for an auditor. Use our DQ file checklist to see exactly what belongs in each file.
Know what's missing, expired, or coming due
Track medical certifications, MVRs, annual reviews, and other required records with alerts and a clear compliance view. Order MVRs from inside the platform, run your annual
MVR reviews and Clearinghouse queries
on schedule, and stay ahead of changes like
NRII medical card verification. Instead of chasing paperwork, you find the gaps before a
new entrant safety audit does.
The Differentiator
Driver Proficiency Training.
Most platforms stop at a quiz score. The Proficiency Portal closes the gap between learning and capability, combining structured curriculum with live instruction that is documented in real time.
Driver training software that proves proficiency
Your most experienced drivers become documented trainers through a digital evaluation portal. Every real-world skills evaluation is logged, scored, and permanently attached to the driver's record. When a driver goes solo, you have proof they were evaluated on the skills that matter — not just a signature on a clipboard.

Automate the process.
Focus on safety
You don't need to reinvent your program. Upload your existing training materials and build digital packets with text, images, and video, add multiple-choice quizzes, or structure classroom content into segments with built-in knowledge checks. When a new driver completes your finishing or mentor program, you have proof they were evaluated on the skills that matter, not just a signature on a clipboard.

FAQs
DOT compliance software FAQ
What is DOT compliance software?
DOT compliance software helps motor carriers keep the records and training FMCSA requires, organized and current. CDL PowerSuite covers the driver side: driver qualification file management, expiration alerts, MVR ordering, and documented driver training in one platform.
Can driver qualification files be kept electronically?
Yes. FMCSA allows electronic records and electronic signatures under 49 CFR 390.32, as long as the records are accurate, complete, and can be produced when an investigator asks. CDL PowerSuite stores every document digitally, and drivers sign in the system.
What goes in a driver qualification file?
Every DQ file needs the driver's employment application, motor vehicle records, previous employer safety history, road test certificate or equivalent, medical certification, and annual driving record reviews. See the full driver qualification file checklist
How much does driver qualification file management software cost?
CDL PowerSuite uses flat monthly pricing by fleet size. Driver Qualification starts at $15/month for a single driver, and a fleet of up to 40 drivers pays $235/month. The DQ + Driver Proficiency bundle is $555/month for up to 40 drivers. There's no contract and no per-driver billing surprises.
How long do you have to keep DQ files?
Keep a driver's qualification file for as long as they work for you, plus three years after they leave. Certain items, like annual reviews and medical certificates, can be removed three years after they're dated. See the full §391.51 requirements
Do owner-operators and non-CDL drivers need DQ files?
Yes. If you operate under your own authority, you need a DQ file on yourself. And DQ rules apply to drivers of commercial motor vehicles over 10,001 lbs in interstate commerce even when they don't need a CDL. Our Solo plan covers a single driver.
What's the difference between Driver Qualification and Driver Proficiency?
Driver Qualification keeps the records FMCSA requires. Driver Proficiency trains, evaluates, and documents what your drivers can actually do. Together, they give you proof of compliance and proof of capability.
